Outsides Sales
BSC is currently accepting resumes for a Low Voltage Tech Operations Salesperson in Spring, TX / Houston area. The Low Voltage Tech Salesperson organizes and coordinates sales in Texas. Must have 3-5 years combined experience (Field, Project Management, Sales) in the local surveillance, commercial sound, fast/fast casual restaurant market, and extensive local business contacts and relationships. We are an established company with 30 years of business, primarily in the Houston, Austin, and San Antonio metro areas. This is an on-site position in Spring, TX.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL CONSIST OF BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Sales / Business Development:
- Maintain a database of potential local customers
- Develop Sales Leads from Pipeline
- Build relationships with the local manufacturers and distributors.
- Have a business development background and the ability to onboard new business.
- Able to grow your business year over year.
- Knowledge of the local chamber of commerce and business associations.
- Well connected within the community.
Sales Operations:
• Work with Project Management team and technicians.
• Manage warehouse inventory, and tools.
• Oversee process of time-sheets and expense report submittals and approvals.
• Adhere to all required project safety requirements.
• Maintain BSC’s high standard of quality and professionalism with regards to workmanship, and customer relations.
• Manage/approve vendor invoices through an internal workflow process.
• Work closely with others on project costing for bids, approvals for vendor agreements, etc.
• P&L Responsibilities, including monthly forecasting and explanation of financials in monthly meetings, meeting profit quotas, and assisting in accounts receivable collection duties as needed.
• Assist with PM, Service Delivery, and Quality Control issues.
• Thorough knowledge of all Project Management Duties
Job Requirements:
• College Business Associates degree+ highly desirable.
• Highly proficient with use of personal computer, including email, spreadsheets and database Macintosh programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and follow-up skills.
• Strong General and Project Management skills and experience.
• Excellent new business development skills.
• Expert Knowledge of PM and QM processes.
$45,000-55,000 a year
This role’s estimated starting annual base salary may differ depending on various factors. Additionally, this role is eligible for other forms of compensation such as sales incentives or discretionary bonuses.
